Thought my live journal was in desperate need of a make-over so hence the new layout featuring The Doctor & Rose. Very simple, I adore black and white photos. The images are from the Doctor Who episode 4x13 Journey's End.

I love this new layout, I would love to hear what my friends list thinks of it.

New layout for my journal. It is based on one of the best comic book series known to Australians.

This layout is also dedicated to my gorgi Max because 'The Dog' reminds me a lot of her and the things she did in her life time.

Sad News

5:30 this morning, my beautiful dog Max passed away. My heart is broken. She died in my arms. She had been bitten by a snake and poisoned. The vet did nothing to save her nor end her suffering, she died in agonizing pain and I will never forget it as it is permanently embedded in my memory.

Rest in peace my beautiful gorgi (short for gorgeous, a nickname I gave her) You were a wonderful pet, a good friend and a mate whom I shall never forget.

I have been meaning to write this here for quite some time but each time I get online I simply just forget. So here goes. Thank you frotcake for the very lovely and pretty Christmas card you sent me in December. Sorry it took me so long to thank you for taking the time to think of me and send it. Life has been hectic for me since December and I have only just landed back down onto Earth and resumed something of a normal life. So thanks again for the pretty card and cute little badge : )

I can't believe that Heath Ledger is dead. I just found out this morning. He was so young and so talented it is a shame and tragic that he has died at such a young age, especially leaving behind a 2 yr old daughter. It's weird even though I never knew this person I have felt numb since I learnt of his death. I guess I felt the same when Steve Irwin passed away also. I think it is such a shock to know that they have died and hard to believe when you never thought in a million years that person would ever pass away so soon in life like Heath did.

I am saddened by this news and though on some livejournal's I have read that some people don't care, I do as I am sure most people on my friends list do as well. Any loss of life is always tragic and sad.
